Born from a love of scent, ROESK is a thoughtfully created mother-and-daughter candle brand. Roesk began with a simple idea: to create a candle that did more than just smell good, it had to reflect our shared values of slow living, purposeful design, and eco-friendly practices.
With roots in both The Lake District and Scotland, we carefully hand-pick each fragrance and oversee every stage of production—from hand-pouring in small batches to packaging the candles for delivery.
Our Mission
We aim for our scented candles to create moments of calm, sanctuary, and mindfulness in daily life. We believe that scent is more than a fragrance; it has the power to evoke feelings or memories, as well as being a tool for self-care thus providing a much-needed pause in a fast-paced world.
Our Values
Slow and Small-Batch
Each candle and wax melt is hand-poured in small batches, enabling us to maintain a high quality across all our products. Purposefully choosing fragrances designed to calm, uplift or inspire.
Clean and Sustainable
We prioritize sustainability by using 100% natural soy wax, a cotton-linen wick, and toxin-free fragrance oils. We also encourage the reuse of our glass vessels.
Art and Intentional Design
In collaboration with a talented illustrator from the Lake District, our products showcase original artwork—infusing each candle with charm, story, and soul.

From the Lake District to Scotland, our entire process is rooted in the UK. Every candle and melt is selected, poured, and packaged by us.

Libby Marie Scott: Illustrator
Libby is an illustrator from the Lake District who has recently graduated from Cambridge School of Art with First Class Honours.
“Something I try to achieve through illustration is creating an image that tells a story. Inspired by child-like imagination and beautiful movies; I combine a mixture of analogue and digital media to produce drawings filled with bright colours
and quirky characters.”
